Storage And Transport

Please stir thoroughly before use. Stratification or turbidity may occur when the temperature is below 0℃. Heat to 30℃-40℃ and stir evenly. The storage time is not recommended for more than 12 months.

Special Notes

The high acid value of the product may catalyze the crosslinking of the paint system. The increase in viscosity of the paint system during storage should be checked.

Application Guidelines

Features and Benefits:

The additive deflocculates the pigment through steric hindrance and keeps it stable. Due to the small particle size of the pigment particles, the multi-pigment system will not produce floating color and flowers. This can increase the gloss, color intensity, transparency and hiding power of the coating. The additive reduces viscosity, thereby improving fluidity and increasing the amount of pigment added. When applied to the electrostatic high-speed rotating coating of inorganic pigments, the fog shadow can be significantly reduced.

It is recommended for solvent-based and solvent-free coatings, as well as printing inks, to stabilize inorganic pigments, especially titanium dioxide. Because of its anionic properties, the additive is ideal for acid-catalyzed systems such as coil coatings.

Recommended Levels

Additive dosage (purchased form) is based on pigment:

titanium dioxid: 2%-4%

inorganic pigment: 5%-10%

The above data is empirical, and the optimal dosage should be determined through a series of tests.

Incorporation And Processing Instructios

In order to obtain the best performance, the additive should be added to the abrasive before adding the pigment.
