Storage And Transport
Temperature sensitive, stored under dry conditions. A slight turbidity may occur during storage, but it does not affect the rheological effect. The storage time is not recommended for more than 12 month.
Application
1.Industrial coating:
Features and advantages
When added to the coating system under agitation, the additive will produce a three-dimensional network structure, resulting in thixotropic flow behavior that is ideal for preventing settlement and anti-flow performance without affecting leveling.
Attention
If it is used in combination with a desiccant, discoloration may occur, which may be due to the formation of a metal complex. Rheological effectiveness in this case should be evaluated。
Under standard measures, there is no negative effect on yellowing. Yellowing and higher additive dosages should be evaluated in suspected systems. When additives are in a reactive and catalytic system and contain cellulose nitrate, we recommend testing the storage stability of the product.
2.PVC Resin
Features and advantages
Liquid additives are used in many PVC resins to improve thixotropy, which allows plastisol to be processed more quickly in the manufacturing process, improving the anti-settlement behavior and anti-flow behavior. The Anjeka-4410 minimizes flare-ups in the pigment paste and controls coating setting during baking. Increase the stability of PVC foam during mechanical mixing.
Recommendation Of Addition
0.2%-0.5% additive dosage (supply form) is based on PVC resin to prevent settling and floating color.
0.5%-1% additive dosage (supply form) is based on PVC resin to prevent run-off.
The above data is empirical, and the optimal dosage should be determined through a series of tests.
Incorporation And Processing Instructios
The additive should be added to the coating system under medium shear force to ensure uniform mixing and rapid dispersion. It does not require special temperature control, the additive can be added to the abrasive stage, and is also suitable for later addition to adjust the viscosity. If the additive is suitable for this system, the rheological effect will be significantly increased, depending on the time and polarity, and the rheological effect can generally be evaluated 2-4 hours after mixing. This additive is recommended for medium polarity systems.
